Chuckle

re IDCC. that must be why Qualcomm invited them to California this year to review 3g agreements; so they could all have a big laugh together?

given your knowledge of TDMA, GSM and GPRS, name another company that is a pure GPRS IPR player? even Strategis Group's Dorfman (the "CDMA bigot" - as he calls himself) believes GPRS will take 150 million handsets over the next couple years.

all those Phds at PA Consulting and Ubinetics must be laughing themselves silly with their proposed GPRS designs. Ubinetics CEO must have been really howling when he stated they'd become the next Ericsson of the UK.

France Telecom and Orange must be rolling in the hay thinking that they will be fully converted to GPRS in the next year; with over a 100 million users. And to think that Orange chose Ubinetics as its sole source GPRS product supplier. That's a howler too. (Don't forget to laugh about IDCC licensing Ubinetics for data applications!)

VLSI is really laughing at the multiple IDCC/NOK/Co-Ware System on a Chip WCDMA (FDD&TDD) IPR design blocks already committed to vitual Asic for review.

Let's not forget to laugh at TXN's chief DSP design coordinator who stated that all DSPs will be intigrated into SYoChs (system on a chips) in the next ten years. He stated the race is on.
