I've enjoyed the good thoughts mentioned on Brocade and Network Appliance. Watch the FC revenue growth over the next few quarters now that an interoperability standard has been chosen this week (Brocade's of course) for the FC space. EMC has certified Brocade's product with EMC completing certification on others soon. All good news for the FC space to get cranking with those hypergrowth sales to take the industry's revenues from $38 Million in 1998 to $30 Billion in 2003.

Here's the link to the announcement about Brocade partnering with Cisco for FC over WANs and MANs:

Here's a nice summary of what Brocade (SANs) does as well as what Foundry (LANs) does. It is coupled with growth projections and why this analyst has chosen Foundry and Brocade as his two favorite next generation networking stocks:

The Cisco/Brocade WAN/MAN FC over IP is really an important key to watch down the road. However, for now, it is important to realize that the stage has been set to fire up sales and see if the FC market can really grow to the predictions for 2003. The IDC figures are too conservative by a factor of 10 according to Brocade's CEO, Greg Reyes.

Gorilla Gaming takes time. It doesn't happen in a few weeks or a few months.
