Thanks, I am changing my position on this. Thanks to the evidence that several of you have provided. The system currently seems too have many flaws and the criteria for establishing guilt beyond a shadow of a doubt, apparently aren't at a high enough standard.

I still would be ok with the death penalty where the standards of proof give reasonable assurances.
