On the promotional front... 1. Attendance at the NY Gold Show, month end. Also a number of meetings in NY and the Eastern Seaboard around that time. 2. Mass mailing. The International Gold Group Quarterly, an in-house publication featuring ICA and ITF, will be mailed within two weeks to a recently acquired list of about 8,000 new names. Probably also to be inserted in the Northern Miner sometime soon. This program was delayed by the Bre-X thing. 3. Re buy recommendations. One crossed my desk a couple of weeks ago, but had several inaccuracies and inconsistencies, and has been sent for revision. 4. Short to mid-term outlook. Such a tough question! Too many variables. IMO, the Almaden study will enable us to build a higher profile for ITF with the analysts. Post Bre-X, a project with 20 years of exploration and a final study in hand will look like a very safe recommendation. Success here will take a little time, however. First drill results from Alaska will be in hand in July, not the most dynamic of market seasons. Look for appreciation in the fall, barring unforeseen circumstances.
