Bottom line:

Cable companies and AT&T are miserable companies. They provide lousy customer service (how many days have I waited from 8-5 for a rep), pitiful areas of service (I live in Denver, where TCI is based, and still can't get @home!), and have management that fails to live up to promises. "T" management has lost the street's credibility, and the cable companies are dinasours.

I've tried for 2 years to get @home. 7 days ago, I filled out the survey to determine if I could get @home service (I was responding to their email). 1-hour later they said no (via email), but if I signed up for "T"'s web service, that they would give me $150 discount (on hook-up equipment) if @home became available in my area. What a deal!

Misery loves company. Miserable companies attract miserable management, and miserable employees. Dead money at the best.
