Tom, I am a member of an Episcopal Church. We do pledge each year. However, no one knows what that pledge is. It is never opened and is burned when the new year comes. It is a pledge between the member and God. Our church puts absolutely no heat on anyone to contribute. However, I am on the Vestry and can confirm the monies are put to very good use. We assist those in need, in catastrophic situations, etc.. I have been tithing for about 5 years and can confirm that not only have I not missed the money I have actually prospered more than when I did not contribute. Just my opinion and glad I am able to tithe. Frank
