Company Continues Ahead of Construction
Schedule for Second Quarter 2000 And

Remainder of Year

DALLAS, June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Allied Riser
Communications Corporation (Nasdaq: ARCC)
announced that the company recently crossed a
major milestone by completing construction of its
high-speed, IP-based, fiber optic
communications network in more than 200 million
square feet of prime commercial office space.
The company also said that it remains ahead of
schedule for meeting its construction goals for
the second quarter of 2000, and the remainder
of the year.

ARC is the nation's premiere provider of
high-speed broadband Internet data, video and
voice services to small- and medium-sized
businesses located in prime commercial office
buildings. ARC delivers its services via the ARC
LightSpeed Network(TM), which provides
customers with a direct "always-on" connection
to the Internet at speeds up to six times faster
than DSL or T-1 lines.

By reaching the 200 million square feet milestone
last week, ARC's high- speed, IP-based,

constructed in 39 metropolitan areas in the
