Another Bill Gates Microsoft msft article. I hope he is spending that money because is doesn't know about MMI/TS and not because he doesn't care for the TS tech ca.dailynews.yahoo.com In any case Microsoft's $2B over the next two years does give a value for MMI/TS if the Beta is sucessful. The value will be in excess of $2B. Which is more valuable-$2 billion in research or the positive results from that research? For MMI shares? $2B*51% / 35MM sh = $29/sh US But we have to do a neg NPV calc because a positive result today is worth more than a possible good result after 2 yrs and $2B in spending. Rough guess, another $20/sh -for a total of $49/sh US or $72/sh CD
