The United States has more criminal laws than all the Communist countries that ever existed combined.

Think about that. Then think about this: The United States is not supposed to be a nation of laws; it is supposed to be a nation of rights -- and the responsibilities inherent with those rights.

I am an Ojectivist. I hold the rights of the individual to be supreme... not the State, a community, a mob, a race, an economic group, etc.

I don't lie in an attempt to sway others to my point of view. I have instead outlined part of the philosophical basis for this morality and the ethics evolved from it. It is rational, honors Man and human life, and does not sanction an imperfect system which murders innocents in the name of punishing those who truly are guilty. That mindset is truly not only primitive, irrational, emotionally irresponsible and vengeance driven, but actually borders on the insane. It is anti-life to all: those who are executed and those who execute.
