Be my guest I really won't mind in the least anyone willing to short. However to state that nobody knows if the diamonds they are reporting come from their property is just stupid. The number of people who'd have to be involved in a fraud such as you propose would ensure the whistle was blown. What would be the point since they'd have to pay wholesale prices to buy the stones elsewhere (how they'd hide the money going out is another story) they sell them paying a 10% commission to the Government plus another 15% of profits.

If you are refering to the diamonds recovered from the K23 pipe then perhaps you should check the bonifides of MPH Consultants. MPH have controlled every aspect of the bulk sample and although TMI may have an idea of the results they won't know for certain until a report is received.

Your suggestion that there may be dirty laundry is a distasteful attack on a reputable firm and has no basis whatsoever. If you think I'm being overly optomistic that's fine by me. At least I've put my money where my mouth is.
