Elizabeth, The shares I buy are my property and the obligation of the contract I bought them under is that I can sell them when I want to. The exchange has this obligation to me and the Securities Comm has the obligation to pursue the bad boys and not me. It's pretty simple but it's upside down up in Canuckland. Ahh...but Canada is a parliamentary oligarchy steeped in a long and deep tradition of cronyism and corruption. You and your money are grist for the mill up here.
