I'll also make sure to not draw the most obvious impications of a news story--like, the only practical way a judgement against a foreign entity can be enforced is by seizure of its local assets. <<standard political posturing using executive orders>> I am not an expert on exeutive Orders (something tells me you're not either), but I doubt declarations of national emergency are "standard." the Order actually blocks others from seizing Russian assets, rather than allowing the US seizure of Russian assets, as we both suggested, so I (we) misspoke. But you'll have to forgive me--what I try to focus on with my postings at this forum is to provide objective links allowing others draw their own conclusions, so I spend as little time as possible on my own commentary. The hope is that the forum isn't rendered useless as an informaton source by endless subjective bantering. (Of course, I'm only one person).
