And if NOK is so arrogant as to cram all that extra equipment required to go fron GSM to W-CDMA down the throats of their customer base, then these customers will grow to hate NOK. Mutual trust and respect", once lost, may stay lost forever. IBM of the 60s and 70s is a great example of this. It is called "resentful bondage." And when you give people/companies a way to break out you best get out of their way of the stampede.
