Janice, Did you hear about the raid yesterday on the DTC? Wild! Never saw anything like it before. Federal Marshals all over the place. SEC agents with guns blazin' and brandishing swords. Must have been 18 of 'em... Big mid-evil weapons, tanks, flame-throwers... Reminded me of Waco. Deja vu all over again. I recognized some of the SEC agents. Their receptionist was there, decked out in a nice Rambo (or is it Rambi?) outfit. Faces painted in black, swords in their right hands and automatic weapons in their left. At a pre-arranged signal, a leased Jag drove by and shot out the windows at the DTC building. The agents opened fire, and return fire came from the upper floors. Apparently the DTC wasn't going to give up without a fight. Eventually a Jewish Rabbi negotiated with the lawyer for the DTC (apparently they knew each other) and the DTC surrendered. Turns out that all the Federal Marshals wanted was some frozen stock. (Not sure if it was beef or pork, though.) Before you knew it, all the shooting stopped and the Marshals and the DTC came out hand in hand and were laughing. Did they show films at 11:00pm in Italy? KJC
