Ray, thanks for posting that Light Reading article. I'll need some time to study the implications of the platforms they're discussing, and what those mean in terms of allowing them to perform T1 replacements.

BTW, do you or anyone else here know of any other Chromatis customers? It seems a bit unusual to see a large order of this type placed with a new vendor without any mention of beta arrangements... unless the Chromatis platform has already been through the gauntlet with someone else.

On a related note, see the excerpt in the message that I just posted to lml on TLM thread concerning the inter-relationships of bandwidth and other networked resources when pumping up the bit rate in an enterprise network.
