Shane. I dod computers B4 Windows came along. Nothing worked well together and everything was extremely costly. MSFT has done 1000 times more good than harm. When the government goes after fast paced hi tech companies to protect companies from their competitors and carries it to the extent of splitting the companies we have a big problem with the law and the government. A web browser is nothing but a fancy external file server and it has no sacred right not to be integrated into other software.

Protecting consumers from monopolies is one thing--desirable. Breaking MSFT into pieces is against the interest of the consumer. The consumer wants something that works and MSFT gave it to them and busted the nuts of a few competitor companies along the way.

PS. I use a Netscape browser.
