[USRX]

<<Incidentally, I concur with all you say about USRX. I've said all along I think they sold out to COMS for a reason and it wasn't from strength. Of course, I could be wrong. I know they're aggressive and shouldn't be taken lightly.>>

I had some discussions previously with an equity analyst covering the networking sector at a major money management firm about the 3COM/USRX merger. He also comformed that USRX was the one who initiated the merger talks and that they certainly were not in a position of strength. In fact, they felt they were facing strategic disadvantages on many fronts and felt the merger was their best hope. Whether or not the merger solves these strategic issues is still an open book. The same analyst was much more bullish on the Asend/Cascade merger.
