Wayne,

It will take a while to sort out what is important and what is not important as to the cause and mechanics of this bubble. We need to remember that people are always trying to take other peoples money and promising riches. In the 70's it was oil in the 90's it is the internet. Also taxing people for the sins of government has been going on since governments were invented. I would say that with todays world it is much easier for people to obtain information on the games the Wall Streets of the world play to strip the public of their money, but greed gets in the way of rational thinking.

I have a friend who decided to obtain an early retirement by investing in this mania and now her investments have gone bad and her retirement will be delayed more than had been planned. I recommended that she not buy in and why, but greed got to her. I suspect this would have happened to her in some other way, if not the internet some other quick rich scheme.

Wayne, my bottom line is we can not do anything about what is going on except make sure we keep our wealth and have empathy for those that loose theirs.

Joan
