Seems that Carpenter Res. who has 10 million shares may be dribbling away at the price. They have the right to sell 350,000 shares a month, and volume and liquidity in the stock since April has been virtually nonexistent. Even 350K shares could have a big impact. There were two big block trades in February and early April, none since.

I don't know if Freeport's problems at Grasberg is having an effect. That's a completely different government (Indonesia). Problems in Fiji? I doubt it! Really should have about the same impact as problems in Peru. Phase I results for this year's drilling are due out shortly. Again, if it was a leak on that we'd see actual selling. What we are witnessing is no market rather than serious selling.

Finally, there are discussions and a likely JV deal (with an "international mining company") pending to pay for the US15 million feasibility study and continued drilling. The company seems concerned enough with illiquidity and lack of market, that they are starting some promotional efforts.
