I doubt that he wants to field a bunch of company-specific questions

I run a looser ship than Rick. <g> If it's not spam and it looks interesting, feel free to ask about it. However, if it's just a random "what do you think of company x" type question, your chance of getting an informative response from anyone is much lower than if you post something more provocative/interesting/informative. If it's a junky company that you are trying to push, here is not the place - you'll likely get a scathing response from Rick/Miljenko etc.

On AVXT specifically - I don't own it, but have a smart friend that does. I'm in general worried about the sheer number of cancer vaccines that are going to be out there over the next few years. My guess is many will show some (but not dramatic) efficacy and good toxicity, and it's going to be hard for them to differentiate themselves in the marketplace.

AVXT loses some points in m eyes because some guy (mor2danc) was spammming all the SI biotech threads about them recently. It's awfully tempting (if a little unfair) to judge a biotech by the behavior of some of its less upright investors.

Actually, now that I think about it, judging a biotech by its investors is as good a metric as most. <g> Maybe the online brokers need something like Amazon's line:

Investors who bought SEPR also bought MLNM ...
