dougsf30,

re:"Elmer, yes, I do think posts on message boards can move stock one way or another.

Presumably this is why the SEC cares about internet message boards, and why they busted the guy who caused Lucent to shed 10% of its value in one hour through a Yahoo [false] posting."

Elmer has posted falsehoods on this thread that have been proven wrong:

1. He has claimed to have seen phyiscal proof of an Intel poster that proclaimed 1M cumines in 1 week.

Clearly this lie with others was aimed at scaring AMD investors that VAST quantities of cumines were about to hit.

2. He has claimed to possess technical info on timna, and it would cause AMD problems in price/performance.

Voila, a few months later Timna is deader than a dodo.

3. He has claimed technical knowledge covered under NDA's including details of units of 1Ghz cumines shipping, willamette performance, and now "seti" performance.

Again a bunch of lies covered up by his "NDA".

This guy is a LOSER.

This guy has been consistently WRONG.

I urge other SI readers to evaluate his latest top secret about forthcoming Intel products with the disdain that they deserve.

Frankly, the only difference between the Yahoo poster's lies and Elmers is that we all know Elmer is a dumbass and not to be believed.

Shame, we cant have the sec investigate this liar.

regards,

Kash
