Schmandel, if you have been really burned by MS products as you say you have been, I understand your frustration. However, to my knowledge, there have been teams in Microsoft in the past which are tasked with addressing customer problems such as yours and provide fixes to current products. Maybe if some day you are forced to deal with Microsoft products which don't work for you, you should escalate it through established channels.
