Steve Malsin. You seeme to have confirmed that the Telson/NOK phones will use MSM3100 chips. However, the 3100 pin compatible MSM 3300 ASICS (w/ advanced GPS, bluetooth, advanced multimedia) began shipping in volume on 4/2000. In as much as Sprint and Verizon are very eager to get a base of 3G phones in customer hands prior to the conversion of their US networks to 1X MC, I am sure that the Korean operators share this desire. These ASICS (aren't they MSM 5000 or MSM 5500??)are what very one really wants and are pin compaatible with the 3100 ASICS.

Thus NOK is building a soon to be antique phone for someone,
