Second, I know you dont want to hear sympathy, but let me just say our cat died last year, she lived to be 18 years old, I gave her a Christian burial complete with cross. Some people might find that irreligious but IMHO she deserved it more than some people I know.
As to the cause of the injury, why would you think its a black snake? Are they not constrictors? I see what appears to be a dog bowl next to one picture, maybe the Dog did it??
Finally, I wish you would get into Jeeping and forget those race cars. I read a lot of books on upgrading engines, transmissions, suspensions and all but dont have practical experience. Wish I had someone I could talk to about it. JDN
