Yes, many investors who bought at higher prices got hurt with Ashton. At current price level, It is difficult to ignore it when a parent company such as AML Australia control 69% and the remaining market float is so tight(11 mil shares and I know where 10% is). This weekends announcement of Debeers/Winspear is great news for diamond exploration and producing companies. Diamond prices are increasing and I expect, within the next few months, speculation moving back into diamond speculation stocks, which some will be brought to levels of overbought. Speculators will consider such fundamentals as Market cap, stock issued, float, experience, and financial support.

I am very excited today for the diamond sector in general and Winspear shareholders. Although we estimated the proposed buyout to be higher. Unfortunately, my position in Winspear is light and nothing to brag about as I was unprepared for the announcement.
