Re: "Tony, there is a huge difference between telling the truth and the truth happens to be bad news, and outright lying as elmer has admitted to do when he claimed Athlon had technical problems, which he later admitted to be a lie"

Once again you are misrepresenting the facts, should we call this a lie? What I think you are referring to was a joke. You don't seem to be able to tell the difference. I made a statement expecting that no one would take it seriously and when questioned I immediately clarified that it wasn't true and wasn't expected to be believed. Contrast this with the repeated false statements by others here that Intel can't ship highspeed parts even today, despite the pages and pages of advertisements on pricewatch, the supposed standard accepted here on this thread. In effect, you call jokes lies because I don't support your fantasies while you ignore outright falsehoods posted by those who share your point of view. You are a hypocrite.

A joke is a miss statement done with the intent to provoke humor. A lie is a false statement that the poster knows is false at the time of posting and done with malice. By this definition almost every AMDroid is a liar at one time or another but you guys ignore each others lies so you can keep your lovefest going. I have never lied, that is made a known false statement with the intent to do harm here, with the exception of a post long ago involving Albert. It was done for a specific reason and had nothing to do with AMD or Intel. It served it's purpose. Albert got kicked off the thread.
