that it has teamed with Hewlett-Packard Company (NYSE: HWP) to provide
Intraware Deployment and Intraware Update Notification services to HP
customers.
Intraware Deployment will enable HP customers to deploy software
applications, upgrades, patches, fixes and data to computer systems throughout
the enterprise from local servers populated with the company's software and to
gather and report end-user hardware and software inventory information. With
Intraware Update Notification, HP customers will obtain timely notification of
upgrades and patches via email. These two web-based services are an integral
part of Intraware's suite of integrated IT services designed to facilitate the
management of the enterprise software life cycle.
