VA.com no longer offers free shipping. It should improve profit margins on the expense of sales. I may be wrong.

I don't know exactly how long ago the free shipping policy has been abandoned, though it must be very recently. First on a few, and now it seems to have applied to all items.

Do I have to pay for shipping?
You will see the shipping cost on both the product detail page and the checkout page excluding a base shipping charge of $3.00. Some products may indicate that shipping is "Included". For these products there is NO shipping or base shipping charge.

What's the $3.00 per order charge for?
The base shipping fee of $3.00 per order allows us to keep our standard shipping amount lower and saves you money when you purchase multilple items. A single DVD movie using our current shipping method would cost 3.95 for shipping (3.00 base/.95 additional). Additional DVDs on this order would only cost you .95 cents per DVD. If we did not have the base shipping amount they would likely be more like 3.00 to 4.00 for each DVD.
