Did IBD rank BMI higher than KVHI? If so I feel vindicated in never reading IBD. BMI's business is based on technology that's more than 30 years old, even radio transmitters on water meters ain't exactly cutting edge; their growth and profit margin are about as exciting as their product line.

Just putting BMI & KVHI in the same category demonstrates a lack of understanding of KVHI's business. Zacks does a little better classifing KVHI as aerospace/defense equipment.
