RE: SNDK

Stan,

For the moment. Competition to SanDisk includes the memory stick from Sony; and I think there is a card called the Smartmedia card, found in some cameras like Olympus?

I did some research recently for my digital camera purchase. Smartmedia is at least as popular as CompactFlash (Memeory Stick is only in Sony's). My understanding is that SNDK holds IP in CompactFlash, but it also sells Smartmedia cards. Am I right that SNDK can become a gorilla only if CompactFlash becomes the standard/default flash memory card?
