After years of playing catch up with other Windows drawing programs, Adobe has finally managed to take a big stride forward with Illustrator 9. Until the 1997 release of Illustrator 7, Adobe had focused primarily on the Mac version of the program. Now with version 9, it has not only caught up, but it has finally joined the Web age. With its new Web-centric features like Pixel Preview working mode, release objects to layers, live effects and shapes, optimize images for Web export, Macromedia Flash export, and SVG support, Illustrator 9 is now much better suited to Web design....>>
