Gerald, Cramer must have read the third post or so on this thread where quite sometime ago, this tactics was fully explained. He does skip over some very important details and trying to scare people out of all converts, not all of them are bad, not at all. If the conversion rate is fixed, there is incentive to short only if the stock is well above the conversion rate and that does not harm the stock permanently. Zeev
