I am amazed at how much of a conspiracy theorist I have become in regards to the market. I don't know one way or the other whether it is true that this is a rigged marke, but it certainly has helped my trading to assume so. Just remember they are all trying to take your money. Just can't let your guard down. A stock I follow and made and lost money on over the past 6 months is VLNC. A battery maker which should do good if they can get a significant order to verify their technology. Last week (Thursday I think) the stock moved up a point on the open (15 close the day before to 16) and then raced to just over $20. It was on life support @ $15, abreak of $14 would have sent it to 9 and then 7ish. The thought process is there is a major order for their product (either cell phone of lap top battery) that the order knows about. I worry it was the MM just manupilating the stock so some clients could bail b/4 the end of the quarter. Jury is still out buy I purchased @ 3rd position. gluttonforpunishment.com
