(re: news) 06/26/00 TIGI to acquire RIMC

Today's news was very important.....

Since with this acquisition plus the prior
announced one of Affinity, TIGI is really
establishing itself as primarily a marketing
company directing traffic to its and its partners
products located on its portal..(well eventually).

Not being perceived as simply an "etailor"
with a product or two, is extremely important
especially in lieu of articles I posted
yesterday.

Regarding other tangential news,
don't know if anyone has mentioned Phillip Morris's
purchasing of Nabisco, and what "conceivably"
this could mean for TIGI.

TIGI through UCP is in process of developing
a relationship with Miller Brewing. Miller Brewing
is owned by Phillip Morris.

Phillip Morris also owns Kraft Foods.

Thus maybe a My Macaroni and Cheese Card?

Businesses are built through "networks". Miller
is part of UCP's and Phillip Morris's "networks".
TIGI could "conceivably" be positioned to
take advantage of these "net works" of Phillip Morris
owns companies and brand names.

Who knows....but with Affinity and RIMC,
TIGI is coordinating ways in which to gather
info through card registrations for corporations,
and now also prepared to provide data base mining
to decipher that info, while also directing
people to the "mall doors" ie. portal using
media and infomercials.

Price today doesn't reflect what TIGI
is putting together.

At least IMO.
