kaka: Good research. I knew you will come up with the figs. one of these days. I figured a long time ago that Dell is splitting the profits 40-60 to executives and shareholders. A 25-75 would have been a more reasonable figure. ESOPs are complex. Once the formulas are set it is hard to change. But we have seen enough examples where managements changed them to benefit to themselves. The maturity of this management will be exhibited when and if they make timely corrections. I think there are signs in the 1Q earnings. In the long run the 25-75 or 30-70 formula will turn out better for management also. I hope Dell opens a dialogue with knowledgeble shareholders on this topic, so that ESOP can be even made better for everybody.
