It is a Micro Brew. India Pale Ale has a distinctive hoppy taste. It was invented to maintain it's flavor on the trip by ship from Britain to India. A small amount of yeast was added to the barrel so that it would continue to ferment on the long voyage. It is my favorite brew. Try it. You'll like it. jb
