DeBeers after Winspear

They may be spending cash, but I wouldn't say it is a lot. I would say they are trying to get it on the cheap (not that they should be blamed). Looks like WSP is now in play.

I hold some CFV and I am hoping that this generates some interest in it. MPV and CFV have been pushed down so far, you almost forget how close they are to a mine. Combine WSP (can't remember how close the properties are) and this could propel MPV to mine status.

Its going to be tough for De Beers to push TMI into play. Management holds the majority of stock, so it is unlikey they could do anything to pick up TMI on the cheap without making a reasonable offer. I don't see it coming, but I didn't see the Winspear offer.

Regarding the figure of 500 K$ that Liz put up, she must be using the head office salaries as her base. Since everyone there would wish to promote the company than they must all be promoters. Similarly, the field geologists, foremen, etc in Guinea could also be considered promoters. TMI there fore has a lot of promoters :)

I have seen Liz's stuff on past bulletin boards and her input is usually better than the crap she posted here the other day:( I can only assume that she hasn't replied to my tongue in cheek because she is actively researching TMI.

It will be interesting to see what the new pinkie will bring in. It is so hard to determine a head of time what one of these things is worth. With the diamond market buyoant right now, we are likely to see high figures rather than low. I am hoping that revenue from this quarter can put them well into the black for the year.

Still, it is nice of De Beers to remind the markets that there is more than wireless and net stocks to make money on.

Cheers
