joe....since the first week of april it has been difficult to get the mkts to notice almost any microcap with a positive story. that will change...it always has in the past. tomorrow we should get no bump w/the bias remaining on tighten. that will help set the table for a summer rally i hope...one in which the micros may participate.

after that they have august to fine tune...whatever happens in august bump wise i expect the bias to go to neutral...setting the stage for the fed to be 'out' of the forthcoming election picture.

as it becomes clear that george w is going to win the mkts should then set up for a meaningful rally come fall. blend this with the notice today from our gov't that the budget surplus over the next 10 years may amount to double what they thought even 6mo ago and the fact that the debt could be paid off a year earlier than previously thought.

reducing the drag on capital formation that the present interest payments on nat'l debt represent in conjunction with the prospect that the bond will not be in competition with stocks (for investor dollars) for possibly years ahead also sets the table in a macro sense for a substantial surge in equity prices over the next few years.

rising tide lifts all boats etc.

al least this is the way things might go<GG>.

or not.
