I see very few of you see what Montello is doing with the all.ca thing. Think about it for a bit.
They have bought up 150+ dot.ca domain names. They plan to link them all together so they point to each other as a Canadian Internet community. You want autoinsurance? You go to the main page at all.ca and then delve in from there. All.ca will build a few of the major sites like rrsp and investment -but the others will be francised out to other companies that want to be IN the community. It is actually quite novel when you think about it -and it should be quite lucrative as well -since it give the mother company a slice of everyones action. Both the Canadian banks and the mutual funds will love this when they figure it out! JPH
