What will the "killer devices" and killer apps" be for wireless internet?

"Users are not going to replace their desktop or laptop PCs with cell phones or PalmPilots. Thye won't crunch numbers, compose reports, or surf the Web on WAP enabled devices. Rather, users will supplement their PCs with smaller, limited function devices that quickly and easily access specific corporate and Internet information via wireless connections. For example, consumers will use their wireless phone to scan email headers, rather than read entire messages. They will view the top five stock quotes of interest instead of scrutinizing the details of every stock."
