As a kid I went by the birth place of DeBeers, the big hole at Kimberly in South Africa. I was travelling in a train pulled by a steam locomotive en route to Cape Town and can still remember how I wanted to get out and look at the massive gaping hole where Cecil Rhodes and Barney Barnato made their fortunes.
I have a lot of respect for the company that was born there and has survived as long as it has.

Anyhow, I had a look at the Elliott Wave stuff and if I am using the correct wave count, (always the if) then we are in for interesting times indeed.

I have updated the chart at elkvalley.net

Some people believe the Elliott wave tells all and others think it is total hocus pocus. I have found it to be a very interesting add on to the traditional technical indicators. When these two totally independent TA systems agree, usually something happens. This is one of those cases where the indicators were saying buy and the wave count hinted a big change in the WSP chart was about to occur.

To avoid all the questions I will be getting, if you are interested in learning more about the Elliott Wave theory there is a good description of it and how to use it at Prognosis.nl

Good luck all WSPers.
