Dear Chris,
I am not aware of what you posted on this thread about Edwarda, however, if we offend someone as deeply as you have apparently done, it is wise to seek forgiveness and explain it was not the intent of your post. If they are right or wrong isn't important the fact is that they are suffering and are wounded by your words. When you are so defensive that can add to the pain IMO.
