Yes I thought of BB's...would give a nice objective reading on volatility too. But what I think would be better are channels or bands that play on absolute values, so you get widening in both directions around some relatively stable axis...I think Donachin (spelling?) channels do this sort of thing (?)...whereas BB's trend with price. It is a good thought, though. I'm open to suggestions as to how BB's or any other bands/channels might kick us out of unprofitable markets...This would seem an obvious 3rd filter.
