More on the small JV for CDMA equipment for China Extracted from an article at asia.biz.yahoo.com Sungmi Telecom, an affiliate of Dongwon Group, has advanced into China by establishing a joint venture. The joint venture, Shanghai Sungmi Telecom, was set up in Shanghai with Prima Trading Co. of China with capital of $800,000. Sungmi has an 80-percent stake and Prima 20 percent. Shanghai Sungmi Telecom will produce and sell CDMA relay equipment and ADSL modems.
