Re: if you're concerned send a friendly note to IR and see if they have an explanation for the share price action. Toni is very good and she might have something to say. It might also be a call to action. Down $2.50 on less than 1 million shares. Action like this usually means someone is going to miss their numbers, I keep telling myself that is impossible. Isn't it?

Dave,

I'm not concerned. I stand to make some good money off of July options, but the bulk of my money will be made in January which is still a long ways off.

In my opinion, it's naive comments like how Steve responded to you:

AMD is quite likely to appreciate in the short term and I will be looking for a top to establish a put position. However, as INTC capacity is upped and processor prices fall and Willamette is shown to be vastly superior to anything in AMD's lineup, I expect AMD's processor business to slip back into the red.

I think a lot of investors still feel this way. It will happen, you have to have patience. I don't expect a stock to go up every day. My guess is we'll start to see some analysts pounding thier fists on the table any day (need to get the fed out of the way first). The numbers will speak for themselves and the extra short interest will help push the stock even higher.
