If a system were established that guaranteed 100% accuracy, then execution becomes a valid option. My concern is not for the rights of the guilty, they have none, it is for the rights of the innocent who are trapped in a terribly flawed system.

Personally, I would not employ the electric chair, guillotine, noose, dunking, stoning or firing squad -- all of those smack of cruel and unusual punishment. Lethal injection seems to be the best alternative at this point in time.

Perhaps in the future we will be able to do a brain wipe and give them a new identity and personality.

And, why just 'him'? -- there are women too.
