ztect, I thought I was right on the topic, but if you want to bring up Buchanan, that is another topic. He is irrelevant. Bush can spot him 5% and still win. I am very glad Pat B. left the party. He is not a typical Republican.

What I said in my last post was:
"Bush certainly is seen as stronger on foreign policy and national security (by default maybe)".

Perception is all that matters because most people do not pay as much attention to the issues as we do. I wish this were not the case but it is.

As for free trade: About the only thing I can agree with Clinton is the free trade agreements. Even he understands how this will help the US. He takes the unions for granted and that is because the unions allow it to happen. They are free to vote for Buchanan, Bush or even Nader (as long as the union thugs do not find out)!
