It is true that major portion of ALA revenue comes from Europe, Asia and S.America.However,
in US major RBOCs( ALA dominate SBC, and is strong at Bell South and Bell Atlantic) are using ALA xDSL access platform.
With dynamite growth xDSL and new routing-switching core/edge platform (50/450 gig) from NN, ALA will dramatically increase its market shares in US.
Also, management is expecting at least two major US wins in optics( new 40 gig system) this year.

Current run of N.America, including NN is 2.5 billion $ us as of June 2000.
They expect at least double the revenue in two years.
As you know Europe( as big telecom market as US + Canada) is about two years behind US and ALA will benefit from European expansion much more then LU or CSCO.
