Binx, The news release you posted... ...indicates to me that some wish to wait to see how the Palm deal will pan out. Removable memory will become a necessity for applications beyond PIM. The Palm endorsement is significant despite what anyone writes. I am convinced of that. BTW, I have read some reviews of the back-up module and the 8MB flash module that Handspring is peddling and they haven't been too favorable. I think we need an upbeat earnings report to assuage the market. These times will demand very selective stock picking by the institutions and SanDisk, by most measures, is a very solid investment. An earnings surprise (more than 22½) will likely be required. I noticed that Alliance pre-announced excellent earnings projections for the quarter. They are about to enter the low density flash market and are the single largest private UMC shareholder. siliconinvestor.com Ausdauer
