The second article contains info on the Itanium and Willamette launch. Willy prices look much lower than I expected:

Intel wants to require available information 895 US Dollar for the Pentium III successor Willamette with 1,4 GHz loud tecChannel of the manufacturers. The Itanium with its 64-Bit-Architektur is to cost in 800 mc/s version with four MByte Cache 4227 US Dollar. The Willamette starts available Roadmap according to one tecChannel in two versions: With 1,4 GHz and 400 mc/s FSB and with 1,3 GHz/400 mc/s FSB. The 1,3-GHz-Variante costs 795 US Dollar in rope that numbers of items. On the distribution to the manufacturers might have to be counted in October. Intel does not call an accurate date. A tecChannel report supplies the technical details of the Pentium III successor with the code name Willamette.

The Itanium Launch is to take place at the end of of August. Four versions of the processor with 64-Bit-Architektur are planned for the start. Two models with 800 MHZ/266 mc/s FSB, which differ in the size of the Cache. The Itanium 800 mc/ costs with four MByte Cache 4227 US Dollar, with two MByte Cache 1980 US Dollar. The two models with 733 MHZ/266 mc/s FSB cost with four MByte Cache 4227 US Dollar and with two MByte Cache 1177 US Dollar. All Itanium prices mentioned refer on rope that numbers of items.
